Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-10-12

These terms describe how Letter To Future Self works and what you can and cannot expect from it. By ticking the box before you send a letter you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

Who runs it

Letter To Future Self is run by an individual who uses the name Ultarthinker and lives in Ukraine ("we"). You can reach us at support@appshub.net .

The service

Letter To Future Self lets you write a letter to yourself and have it emailed to you on a day you choose, from the next day up to 20 years ahead. The letter is sent only to the email address you have confirmed with a code. The service is free.

Who may use it

You must be at least 16 years old, and the email address you enter must be yours. You show this by entering the code we send to it.

What you write

You are responsible for what your letter says. Do not use the service to harass anyone or to break the law. Letters are stored as plain text (see the Privacy Policy), so do not write passwords, payment-card numbers, health records or anything else you would not want kept on someone else's server. We may remove a letter, refuse to send it or block an address if the letter or its use breaks the law, harms other people or abuses the service.

Delivery is best effort

We do our best to send your letter on the day you chose, usually between 8:00 and noon in your time zone, but we cannot promise it. A letter can arrive late or not arrive at all because of spam filters, a full or closed mailbox, a changed address, a fault at an email provider or on our side, or events outside our control. When your provider refuses an email we try again a few times and then stop, without telling you. Keep your own copy of anything that matters.

Long waits

You can choose a date many years ahead, but nobody can guarantee that a small online service will still exist in 20 years. If we ever decide to stop the service we will try to tell you in advance by email and, where we can, to deliver waiting letters early. We cannot promise this.

No warranty, and limits of our responsibility

The service is provided "as is" and free of charge. As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for losses that come from a letter being delayed, lost or read by someone who has access to your mailbox, or from the service stopping. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, such as consumer-protection rights where you live, or any liability that cannot be excluded.

Stopping

You can stop deliveries at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email we send, and you can ask us to delete your letters (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access for anyone who abuses the service.

Changes

We may change these terms when the service changes. We will update this page and its effective date.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. This does not take away the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
